I'm not sure if anyone has the answer to this or not, but I was wondering if anyone knows how much omega-3 the Pro Plan Selects Salmon & Brown Rice dry and canned food contains. I haven't been supplementing fish oil since I've started on this diet, considering it is salmon based, but depending on the amount in the food, I may want to start back up again.
The guaranteed analysis on the Pro Plan website says the dry Salmon/Rice contains "(min) 0.25%". What does that mean in terms of EPA mg? And there's no EPA listed for the canned food at all.
The recommended dose of omega-3 is 180mg EPA per 10 lbs, so Red (at about 80 lbs) would need 1440mg per day. Each 3V Snip Tip capsule I give him contains 540mg EPA. I just don't want to overdo it..
