Cool photos! I must have missed it...who is Frank? Another Bruda boy?

No, Frank is a Relic dog, but has the Perfex prefix. Very nice dog, I love Frank!

PS - you should come to the CAT in Ramsey, MN in May!

Great photos and videos of your Dobes!! You really captured the grace and power of your Dobermans in full stride! :nicejob: (except for pic #1123 showing the streamlined slober trail! :p)

Our Spock would L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-Love to do lure coursing -it's right up his alley. He has an intense prey drive.

Question- Do the dogs ever get tangled up in the lure line?

It's been known to happen, but it's very, very, very rare. Mine have never gotten caught, and we've been doing "fun runs" a lot longer than we've actually been coursing for titles.

These photos are so amazing. I love seeing the athleticism and the joy they get out of this.

Weird question, but did they get as excited when they first started coursing? I hear all of you say stuff about the dogs screaming in excitement or taking 2 people to hold them back, etc. I'm just wondering if after they get a taste of it they get even crazier for coursing? Or if they are all just really prey driven to begin with?
All it takes is for them to watch another dog course, and usually after that they turn into screaming fools. The only difference that seems to come with experience is how they react to open fields... at first they don't react to the coursing fields, but the more they do it... they recognize a field when they see it and get very amped up without even seeing the bags.

The first time I took Rocket coursing he was calm all the way up to the line and the Tally ho. He's gotten progressively more intense. Saturday was the first day that it took the two of us to hold him down while he was waiting his turn - he's very creative at ways to try and get loose. (I generally hide him until I know he's next in line, but there was no running order this weekend.)

All it takes now is the first test of the line/battery to see if the course is ready and the dogs start whining/shaking.
