I need to know if any other breeders out there have ever had a puppy during teething get swollen lymph nodes in the throat??? everything else is normal.
I'm wondering if the back molars are comming in and causing this? Again everything else is normal, eating, drinking , playing, No Temp.
Any thoughts?
Thanks ;-)
Ps Oh I can smell that yucky bloody smell in the mouth.. I've never seen this before in any other pups.

Yep, it does - Are you sure the teeth are coming through, and not impacted or crooked? Or that the pup didn't try teething on something that splintered under the gum, and caused an infection? Can you see any redness, puffiness, etc?

No theres no redness or swelling? But the molars are huge that are comming in. Now you cant see the nodes are swollen , only when I run my hand down them. and basiclly they are right under the jaw bone at the back. He has been chewing alot right now. I'm going to a show this weekend I think I'm gonna get some people there to have a look aswell and see what they think?

I know in children that flu like symptoms are really common along with teething. This includes a heightened immune response, swelling in the lymph nodes, temperature, nausea etc.

As long as there is no temperature or pus in his mouth, I wouldn't be TOO concerned.

Hello, I was going through some of the threads to see if I saw something regarding this. My Doberman is 4 months and is teething, and today I noticed that she had those two lumpy things on either side of her jaw line. I’m also curious to what this may be.
