Mark your calendars for April 22 through 27, 2025, to participate in the UDC National. The location is K9 Junction, 11400 IL-72, Davis Junction, IL 62954.

I think Elle and I might try to get ready for something. Maybe our IGP1 finally?

Very interesting! Good luck!
I'm thinking these events would be a great thing to attend as a dobe noob like me;
just to get an idea whats possible in your dobie...watch and learn,
And get to meet a couple of fellow dobe dog owners.

More here:

It kind of depends on where you live. The Doberman Pinscher Club of America (DPCA) National Specialty will be held in Wichita Falls, Texas, October 3-12 2025.

The DPCA is a much larger and older organization than UDC. It is mostly the conformation organization, but they also have obedience and agility.

UDC is kind of the alternative organization that mostly does IGP, but also includes European style conformation and does offer obedience, but it is not well supported.

However, travel distance may be more important in both of these cases.

This is a long drive from cold country but its a nice time of year to do it...and a pretty part of Texas, imho.

Worth it just to watch and learn...hmmm.
My guess is some of the handlers and breeders will be camping in RVs. Might be able to pick up some names or even tips when people arent busy in the show...
Hmmm...
