Hi Hi everyone! Pilot is now 14 months old and a kick in the pants. He has the normal dobe habit of sitting on my lap, his front two legs on the ground and stinky butt in my face! Gross but too funny. Also, he is currently obsessed with his winter coat, cuddling and loose leash walking (We are working on the last one, maybe it is our obsession)

On a more serious note, I am currently applying for a yoga scholarship and am in fifth place! It is a funny type of scholarship where people vote for you by leaving comments on your webpage. Pilot and I did a video of us around Portland and I think you'd enjoy it. His only guest appearance is in the final scene working on his down dog:) PLEASE go to this link and leave a comment at the very bottom. Also, if you have Facebook or Twitter, you can like it at the bottom of the essay (if you do all three, I will get 3 votes!) Yoga Anywhere by Kadi Driver | Yoga Teacher Training, Yoga Certification

Also- attached is his Xmas photo on his new Costco bed! He loves it!

That was such an odd time for Pilot. I took him to the vet and it appeared to be either a change in weather (100 degree days), getting rid of his puppy fur or an allergy to food. We quickly changed his food to a fish diet and it has been great since then. It is honestly hard to say if it was the weather, food or simply him growing up. It was very weird though. He even appeared to have a heat rash during the time but never seemed uncomfortable. Fortunately it wasn't too bad and now it is normal. Phew!

Ooh, also he is one of those reds fortunate enough to have a white spot on his chest, he has had it since a little boy!

Chase has about three white hairs on his chest, you can only see them in the summer, I think it adds character :)

Thats great the rash cleared up, have you ever wondered if it was an irritation from his harness? Maybe its the way the picture was taken, but the rash looks worse on the palpable points of his chest (Manubrium, and points of shoulder) where the harness would have rubbed.

I have a red boy, and I used a back pack, after two hours of wearing it in the summer, the moist and constant rubbing caused a histamine reaction on the rub spots, so I can no longer use it :(

Bummer! I will have to keep my eye open next summer if the backpack is the cause. It easily could have been.

I am now looking at some photos of before I got the pack and after and it appears slightly worse after, AH! I do remember the harness irritating his arm pits a bit too.
I am sure not all is but I am hoping some is a coincidence b/c we have a very early summer in Portland (65-75 degrees) and then it shot up to 100 for a few weeks in late July! It was shock to my body, I even got an awful heat rash.
