Nike just took out one of the posts that holds up the overhang on my front porch in an attempt to go after another dog.. Holy cow, we are gonna be in big trouble when hubby gets home. Ugh. lol.

I had her on a tie out... to that post.

It needed to be replaced at some point, she just increased the urgency. lol.

It *is* funny, actually. It's always funny as long as nobody gets hurt! Hubby wasn't mad nor was he surprised that it happened. Apparently, the bottom of the post rotted. It makes me wonder where else the builder *didn't* use pressure treated wood.

And now the neighbors are all checking their posts.. so Nike did everyone a favor!

Rah would remove the post, swing it around so it takes out at least half of the door jam, drag a minimum of 5 shrubs and probably another dog with him..
and once he got past the front door he'd wrap it around the mailbox, include at least one car tire and then head down the road wreaking havoc along the way

Who's the builder?

Katz was our builder. And, for the most part, they did a decent job.
It's odd that they would cheap out there, considering they use materials like Tyvec wrap and plywood sheathing and other builders in the area do not.
