I do!! Koa graduated from Puppy Class yesterday and earned the AKC Star Puppy certificate. Now it's on to Basic.

Did anyone else find that their puppy was bored in puppy class? Koa was bored from day 1! He had already mastered sit and down before the class and was potty trained.

I don't remember Maiya being bored in class. She was in 3 different puppy classes (2 different training facilities). She liked the socialization part of the classes (puppies and people). One class moved pretty briskly because all the puppies caught on quickly and everyone did their homework. We did a little puppy heeling and puppy agility in that class too. The puppy agility was FUN!

Maiya is a S.T.A.R. Puppy too.

Congrats on the S.T.A.R.
Dex and I are usually bored in puppy (competition) obedience class. He catches on so fast and after we are done practicing, he lays down and takes a nap until the rest of the puppies catch up. Last week we worked on fetching....which is Dex's favorite game. Talk about bored... the trainer was impressed when I told him to go get his rope and he brought it to me. The trainer uses him a lot to demonstrate for the class. I hope the next class will be a little more challenging. It's funny seeing that other people have the same problem with their dobes and training classes.

Lillie was always bored in puppy class and would lay down and mope... at least until it was playtime
