Both of them are pretty similar in temperament. Physical differences are only in the markings on the chest. The one on the right has a slightly wider head but they are only 6 weeks so it could change i suppose. What do you think?

Are you positive they are that close in physical structure?

No not positive at all. Im just going off what i can see. If you see anything please feel free to help. It was my first visit and im going again this Sat. Since ive been on the waiting list she is letting me pick between the two black males in the litter.

Ah, ok. I can't tell unless they are stacked up. What does she say the pros/cons to both of them are? For both tempermant and structure? I'd compare that to what you like/dislike and go from there.

A good breeder should hopefully be walking you through this process and givnig you feedback. Typically a good breeder can find the bestm atch for a new owner or narrow it down, etc.

She recommended i wait a few weeks because personalities were still changing. I told her i wanted him more calm then hyper. (not that any doberman is calm...LOL) Im not showing him so personality and overall health means more to me then show quality. She does all the testing and guarantees health so my decision is pretty much based on cosmetics and what temperament she can determine on my behalf.

aww they both are cute .. being tht you are choosing a pet over a show dog, I kinda like the little white spot on the chest but thats my opinion, my one girl has a couple white toes on her back foot. I suppose you should wait to see how their temperaments are, and decide from there, they are both adorable though.

I too like the one that is yawning with the white dot. Looks more content then the other.

I def preferred the the one with the white stripe at first glance but after interacting with them the one on the right would not leave our side so he pretty much chose us.
