........It sure doesn't take Leia long to go potty! LOL It's been raining for 2 days. And, although Leia goes to the door and whines to be let out (smart girl!) she puts the breaks on as soon as she sees/hears the rain.

I pick her up, rather than try to get her to use her leash though... I just took her out a few minutes ago, and she tinkled and poo'd in less than 20 seconds.

I have a melting dobe. :D

She really does seem to be a smart pup. She has learned sit, wait, shake and down. However, her coming when called still leaves a lot to be desired. She'll come.. when she wants to. Still working on that one.

When I ask her if she's hungry, she goes to the kitchen and sits in the spot I place her bowl. She also knows the word 'water'.

She is crate trained already as well. I'm proud of my princess!

Very good puppy learning, so far....good stuff.

I teach the "come command" by first teaching "fetch a ball" sitting on the living room floor (to lower your eye level).
(no treats, and mix it up with play tug / keeping it all fun)
When the ball is mouthed & picked up, than you give the "come" & praise like crazy.
The fetch & come is all trained via. fun play...outside come, then becomes much easier.

My Amy is a senior now...she don't get wet unless Dad does to...lol...they don't outgrow, their dislike for rain.

LOL "Dad" loves his girl.. obviously! :D

I do sit in the floor during play time indoors... I have to. So long as someone is there to help me up. hehe

I've been tossing rope toys, etc.. with a "get it!", "bring it"., and "let go". She does "get it", and "bring it", but those puppy teeth are stubborn. LOL

While playing outside, I sit on a little foot stool to supervise. Because of chronic pain, I can't be on my feet for more than about 5-10 mins at a time. Leia already makes a bee-line for my stool when off leash.

I puppy-sat my daughter's Luke. Here's a short video showing them playing with my Rat Terrier Sophie. I don't know what it is... but Leia doesn't really like playing with Sophie outside when I'm on the stool.. however, she plays with Sophie like crazy inside. Maybe someone will have some thoughts about that?

The pups are going on 10 weeks old now.

Here ya go.
