Simon has a 42" crate and he's pretty tall for a male. He has plenty of room.

A 500 size vari kennel will work

PETMATE ULTRA VARI KENNEL 500 40X27X30 X LARGE

I also use the 42" noz to noz or the 48" for home.

I have a 42 inch crate for my boy. He's not full grown but I don't worry about it fitting him throughout his life.

I use a 700 varikennel at home and have a 42" suv crate for travel along with a 42" nos to nos mesh crate. My boy fits in a 500 varikennel ok, but I don't feel comfortable leaving him in one for more than just a few short hours occasionally.

Right now I am at the national and have a 500 varikennel in my hotel room for the few times I leave him here. I also have the 42" mesh set up in the show area. The 700 is bigger than I want to travel with!

We are using XLarge wire crate for each dog. It comes with a divider.
When Asha was a puppy she had an access only to a half of her crate. I was expending it gradually.

Here it is:
Top Paw™ Double Door Dog Crates - Dog - Sale Category - PetSmart

Warning: puppy teeth may stuck in the wire. You have to watch your girl all the time or use a plastic crate before she is 4 months old.
