Abbie and Diesel had a lovely walk up on Cannock Chase, we were there for a couple of hours and walked so far!! So now they are nice and tired and curled up in their beds. Forgot the camera but had phone with us so managed to get this piccie

The only trouble was that they had to stay on their leads because we are still having people set off fireworks and Abbie bolts if she hears one and I suspect Diesel would too :sadcry:
So what did everyone else do?

he's lucky he's cute
:)
Princess did the same..

Not a bad game though (except of Redskins loosing). Campbell seems to be a very good and very much needed addition for Washington.

Oh and who were you sreaming for during the game....:3dbiggrin

1. Chased the ball in the yard.
2. Chased the ball in the pool.
3. Visited a brand new park, walked across the jiggly bridge and went down the kiddie slide.
4. Barked alot at the park's unusual trash cans.
5. Christened the freshly-planted trees.
6. Had a bath; acted stupid.
7. Practiced "give it".
8. Pondered the time-space continuum, wondering exactly why yellow rubber cupcakes squeak when you repeatedly poke them with your nose.
9. Chased the cat.
10. Went to sleep on the couch.

That's a great picture for a telephone, 2DobesUK!

We're just sitting here watching Football. The day's going great, The Hated Raiders lost this morning, and now The Cowboys are playing Indianappolis tough.

Sunday's our day to be bums. Good thing, too. It's 90*(F) outside right now.

Mensa's laying on the sofa, kicking and yapping in her sleep. Probably dreaming about beating The Raiders.

I wish it was 90 outside Chaz. I'm moving where you are.

We spent the night chasing eachother and seeing if we could catch some stars until the wee hours. They crashed on the couch for naps. Doodle played somemore with the cats. We all took naps. Playing commenced outside later in the afternoon with somemore tag. I was the ref. If they suffer, I have to suffer. That is only fair, right?

It's not 90* anymore.

It's cooled off to 68* at a quarter 'til 9 pm.

I have all the doors and windows open trying to cool this place down before I go to bed.

Mensa's out running in the yard with my other dogs.

Love Abbie & Diesel's harnesses - where did you find them??

Java had a bit of a slow start yesterday - was chewing on a rawhide chicken-basted bone and I think it gave her loose stool. Made sure she had lots of water, meals were rice and yogurt. Didn't really slow her down, though. Went to the dog park, even though I swear it's always 10 degrees colder there. She ran around a bit, then slept in the back of the car while I ran some errands. Home to lie on floor pillow and chew on Nyla bone, wait for dinner to be served. Slept at foot of bed while I watched TV, then back outside and into crate for the night. Pretty quiet & boring, but these days, quiet and boring is good!

I think Java knew that it was Sunday and she was looking around for hubby to appear and take her to neighbor's to w-a-l-k in the w-o-o-d-s with M-a-x, but he's out of town. Every Sunday since she was 8 months, this has been her late Saturday and early Sunday morning routine. She runs full tilt for an hour, has a shower, does her 'Seabiscuit' run up and down the length of the house and then sleeps for two hours in the sun!

it's monday morning now...but yesterday I woke up with Duch pushing me and nudging me to make room for her on the bed and under the covers...I spent a little time reading my book for school...and she sat on me with half her body. Then we ate breakfast and the dogs hang out under the table...
then i had to go to work for 5 hours :(
but when I got back from work she wiggled and greeted me home...and Matt came over...she loves him...so she cuddled with him...gazing into his eyes and whining everytime he stopped petting her...then eventually we just went to bed....
my mom took them to play outside in the yard.

Glad everyone had a good day! I love Sundays, the only day we get a bit of a lie in, and we spend the whole day out with the dogs :)
Well done Brum with Tia, thats fab, and this prize you won have you got a pic of it?
I bought the harnesses off a uk website, they are quite cheap and sell matching leads too :cool2: I love them, the colored bit is fleece so they are nice and soft and they do about 16 different colours I think. I will post a link to the website if you like, pretty sure it says on their website that they take orders from overseas:)
