Fully charged Scooter, one excited Doberman with back pack on and a happy little scooter riding Doxie. We took off to the Fairgrounds has wide side walks, then found out one side the side walk ends had to go cross country go in the Fairgrounds to get to the sidewalk on the other side. Patches walked most of the way, stopped for water breaks then went over to Sears and used the shade of the building to get to where we had to go on the parking lot then back on the side walks to get home.
Does anyone have any idea on what I could put on the scooter to find out how many miles we go??? I called the store where I bought the scooter said nothing available to do mileage??? Wonder if one of those pedometers walkers use would work on Buddy's collar???
Buddy came home laid down for maybe 3 minutes and picked up a toy??? Its suppose to rain the next three days so guess we will go to Pet smart & Pet co & walk around.
Hubby keeps telling me I'm going too far from home will run out of battery power told him Buddy & I would just pull & push it home its suppose to go 20 miles that is a long way to go on a scooter that goes 5 miles an hour.We found out if you push the button to go accross a busy street the light does not give you enough time. To cross busy streets we go fast Buddy is jogging to get across still don't make it before the light changes. Think I will call the city and ask about it should give you enough time to go across Patches rides so we can go faster crossing streets.Good thing just 2 streets to cross.

Ha,ha I can see Patches pulling on the scooter, but really she had a harness to walk with but pulled so hard left the imprint of the leash in my hand. Problem solved with a micro pinch did not know they made pinch collars for little dogs works great.Buddy's back pack has a handle on it if we ever do run out of battery but at his young age do not think he should pull the scooter even though it has a free wheel mode.Do not see getting a Gps thing any time soon not that important just to satisfy my curiosity.Do not think we will be getting lost since we just stay around our neighbor hood.

I checked out the GPS web site would have to call the scooter store and ask if something like that would interfere with the scooter. In the manual that came with the scooter it said cell phone and other electrical devices can make the scooter behave erratically??? Plus it said you have to be careful around power lines those might also make the scooter misbehave.

You would think you could use a cell phone around the scooter most people that have scooters or wheel chairs have physical problems they might need a cell phone. I carry a cell phone but keep it put up only use mine for emergency's.So far carring it turned off has not been a problem only one time by some power lines the scooter sorta did its own thing.
