Well all, the surgery to get the left ear to stand worked! Kilo got his stitches removed on monday. Initially his left ear was shorter than the right one in height, but all has seemed to even out. I guess after the stitches loosened up, it let the ear stand the same height as the other one. We are applying neosporin everyday so that he doesn't end up with an ugly scar though the fur should eventually cover it. I will try and post pics within the next day if not sooner. Once again, thanks to everyone who provided valuable advice in regards to ear posting.

Very nice! Remind me again exactly what they had to do to make them stand?
The vet made an incision on the back of the ear and pulled some of the excess skin closer together (picture pinching the skin on the back of the ear and removing what's between your fingers, and then stitching it back together). He has full functionality of his ears, can move in all directions and everything. We thought he would be stuck with 1 ear permanently standing when he relaxed his ears. We are very pleased with the outcome.
