Be very very wary before buying from this breeder / importer. I got my doberman from them, what an awful experience. I pay 50% upfront then they said they will import the dog to their kennels for 2 weeks in the UK to give it time to acclimatise.

Nope, they did not. I get a call on a Saturday at midday when banks are closed saying we are in a car park near your house now and we need the other 50% of the money so you can have your dog. Ofc not possible on a Saturday and who on earth sells a dog in a car park. My first instinct was walk away from the deal and even if you lose the deposit oh well. But as a dog lover regardless of the condition, at this stage I don't want it to go back to a questionable breeder. So I collected the dog and got the rest of the money to them on Monday. The dog himself is fine other than his docked tail which looks like it was butchered off, what a hack job.

I love the dog don't get me wrong when I say this but the pair of them are complete cowboys... I also do not have a pet passport so have to get all their vaccines done from scratch. They sell second rate dogs for first rate prices and I would strongly suggest they are just a puppy farm and they value quantity over quality. Peter the guy from UK dobermans is also clueless, cannot tell his arse from his elbow and never delivered an explanation as to why everything changed and upon mot receiving the pet passport he simply ignored all my messages. Also... The dog is definitely not 15 weeks old which means it was imported illegally.

Good point... Should I report both the breeder and the third party seller to some sort of trading standards or the rspca?

I swear if there is a way to create a viable scam some will do so.

Must be incredibly aggravating to the breeders who sell puppies honestly, price them realistically, know the laws surrounding buying and selling animals and what paperwork is required and follow the instructions and do it all properly.

So sorry you got caught up in the middle of it--I think I'd report it to any agency that had anything to do with it from selling, to producing the passport, registries and any business agencies (like the Better Business Bureau in the United States.

Who delivers puppies in car parks you ask? People who are up to no good and scammers--that's who.

we are currently getting a doberman through these, any chance you could post some pics of your dog/the documentation you get from uk dobermans (not your invoice you'll know what i mean). just to add some validity to your claim, as a 1st post with no picture or proof could just be out and out slander. Or it could of just spurred you on to making an account to discuss it.

Why would you agree to meet them in the bank and hand over the money AND without the full documentation or without ringing peter whilst you was with the delivery company? (or are you suggesting that belic traveled from Serbia and personally delivered him to you?). I'm not saying your story is a lie but some validity would help others. Otherwise your just another 1 post account slandering a company/kennels on the internet (for right or wrong)

Dobermans UK have been discussed here on DT before, and are not anyone I'd be interested in getting a puppy through. They are brokers, rather than breeders.

If you want a cropped and docked puppy imported from a country where it is still legal to do so, then you should be talking directly with the breeder.

for what reason? that you would be overpaying for the dog, or that somebody is making money on the back of a life?

the middle man offers security between you and the breeder. a registered company in your country that can be sued, reported etc for breach of contract. else youre just sending 2grand+ out the country in good faith lol

In the US, quality breeders would never sell a dog to a broker. They want to screen buyers, make sure they are selling to someone they trust, and have a relationship with that person for the duration of that dog's life. The level of trust between a puppy buyer and their breeder goes well beyond simply a monetary transaction. I would assume the same of good European breeders.

A broker is only in it for the money and could careless if the puppy is healthy, if it has papers, what kind of buyer you are.... They are like used car salesmen, don't believe a word they say as truthful and they're probably selling you a load of junk.

They have no more contact with these breeders than Joe schmo nobody off the street. Do you think Altobello or Belic could stay in business if they were scamming people across the globe? No way. I wouldn't personally do business with them but if someone wanted a Doberman from that kennel I would definitely tell them to go directly to the breeder themselves.

I have all the proof of the so called pet birth certificate as well and videos of the dog showing the hack job on the tail. I would rather send all this through email than having it circulating on the Internet. So tk help you not get scammed by them too I can send over any info, just email me at [email protected]

I'm not mad at them and not making this post out of spite, it was my own fault for using a broker that sell you a lie and I should have researched better. I don't even think UK dobermans have a UK kennel and I received none of what they promised. Also the dog had to be wormed upon purchase as he had clear signs of worms when we took him to the vet and was grossly underweight. All can be seen in videos I have. Poor fella. He is okay now though.

It won't let me submit the screenshots to the forum so for all info messages and pics just email me at [email protected]

I am not mad at the guys though it was my fault for not doing enough research but everything they tell you is a lie. I did also contact darko belic personally as he was delivering the dog, or his employees did at least and there is proof of this. Also have prrof he was delivered underage. He was also very underweight and had worms and kennel cough upon arrival.

Hi, I had dealings with this crowd, well when I say dealings I mean I rang peter and inquired about getting a puppy for them,I asked about a hundred questions about the pup and pedigree and delivery etc..... and he had not a clue ,he was just pushing me to put down a down payment and he NEVER asked me one question about were the puppy would be living or was I suitably to own a dog of this super breed , absolutely nothing.... I did not like the feeling from uk Dobermans after that conversation with peter..... the next day I was on here and saw a tread ‘axel is on his way’ and there were discussions about uk Dobermans on it so I posted a comment and was told (not to my surprise) stay well clear... A lovely couple Aron And Louise put me in touch with Brutal Dragons Doberman kennels and thanks to them I now have a outstanding Doberman puppy which arrived 2 days ago and everything was arranged through the breeder... I would 100% recommend this kennel and the breeder Nina is fantastic.

Hi.....please if you can avoid don’t buy a puppy from Peter. He is rude, obnoxious, a liar, knows zero about the puppies he is selling and gets peed off if you ask questions.

He slagged me off to a breeder telling them I was “thick” and asking too many questions....which incidentally got back to me.

He sells puppies without paper work, and if they are arriving in this country (U.K.) without a passport they have been imported illegally. Worming is part of the process to import so if they arrive with worms I would also be inclined to believe they were SMUGGLED in to the U.K.

He takes puppies from breeders and doesn’t pay them and also lies about which breeders the puppies are from. And then stops replying when you ask for their paperwork. This then prompts the owner to contact the breeder who then confirms the puppy isn’t theirs.

I have learnt a lot about this guy and non of it I like. One thing not to do is slag me off and then expect me to sit back and not try to destroy your (illegal) “business”

peter will lead you to believe importing a puppy is easier through him. Hell he may even tell you you CANT import without him. He is lying on both counts. Find a breeder you like, I spoke to Brutal Dragons, Loris Land and Altobello all were extremely helpful and happy to import.......at a MUCH lower price than Peter. I hear he is charging £4K a puppy now...

I am happy to report that as of April 2020 Peter at U.K. Doberman’s will most likely have to cease trading because it will be illegal to resell a puppy younger than 6 months here in the U.K.
For all the waste of space the U.K. Government is, they have got this one right
