I'm in Photo Overload again...........

From Saturday...

Poor Butch.......Even when he has hotdogs Ziris just gives him the finger and looks to me.

A little more enthusiasm for mom :)

Z playing tug

Tori says that her camera was having issues and they are crappy pictures.........I wish my camera malfunctioned like this though!

And that is how it should be,can't have her doing things for strangers just for the price of a sausage, good girl Ziris.

Exactly! When I told my obedience instructor that Cole will not heel or walk nicely for anyone but me, she told me that's they way it should be.

Z looks fantastic. She looks in splendid condition. You go girl!

I think it's good Ziris isn't taking food from Butch. That means she trusts you more than she wants the hot-dog. Mavis was like that. Whenever someone tried to give her food she would just look at me.

Love those Safari Vests. So does Mensa. She knows now when I pull the vest out of the closet she's going for a walk. Very useful for carrying all that walk-stuff. Like camera, batteries for camera, dog treats, dog dish, carabiner to tie her leash off on a post or a tree, phone, a dog whistle and a coyote call to coax Mensa to hold her ears up for photos.

That would be a sniper vest ;) A little different, but serves the same purpose.

Yep there were a couple Rotties there! I actually got to hold a rottie during bite work the other day........OMG are they strong. It belongs to a friend of mine and her husband was doing the helper work, so I held the dog for them. This dog is so funny........when you let her out of her kennel, she runs for a rope that is tied up in a tree, she jumps up and grabs the rope and swings back and forth. She is a very cool rottie girl, sweet as can be too. Her brother is doing awesome in Schutzhund and is also being shown in the breed ring.

Ziris wont be on the sleeve for a long time. Rommel was really started to early on the sleeve, so I am really just in NO rush with Ziris. She is doing awesome though. I love my little dutch girl.

Rommel didnt get to do bite work that day. I think you probably read in another post of mine that Rommel's Schutzhund days are over. I will still do obedience with him and hopefully agility, but bite work will only be occasional and for fun. He loves it, but he is very unpredictable under pressure. He will either take cheap shots and bite you in the stomach or he will get mouthy on the sleeve, or a number of other things. He is a wonderful dog, but the older he gets the more I see that he just isnt cut out for this sport. He tried..........we learned alot. I always said that if he ever stopped enjoying it, or we had to push him to far to make him do it, we would be done. And we are at that point....so I think it is in his best intrest to chalk it up as alot of fun and move on to the next sport for him. He and Piper are lavishing in the life of spoiled house dogs at the moment :)

Thanks :) She is actually a little bit fat. I have never had a fat dog, so this is a first for me. LOL. She is now on a reduced fat diet, and she is eating less. Oh.....and she only gets Turkey Hot Dogs for training. haha.

But Thank You! :)

No BiB I did not read about Rommel, but I do remember you saying if it wasnt fun anymore you would stop. Good for you and for rommel for giving it a go and I am sure he will enjoy anything you two do together!

She's looks like a pro even for a mommas girl.

I was always so careful with Cleo's diet because people would tell me that if I wanted a fat doberman I should have gotten a rottie. Like they are exactly the same, just fatter. HUM?? But, as she got older I noticed chub around her waste, rushed her to the vet because it must be cancer right? Wrong!!! It was adepose tissue from extra weight and age. LOL. Wonder how that happened. She lost the weight but the fat pockets didn't go away.
