Hi everyone,

I apologize if this isn't in the right spot, I was a bit unsure.

I was wondering if anyone had any toy recommendations, though. My pup is 8 months old, and she's not a heavy chewer necessarily, but she does destroy toys like crazy. She doesn't like nylabones, or any toy where it's so tough she can't make any progress.

So I'm just looking for a stuffed toy or something that's a bit tougher than normal and will last for a couple days rather than five minutes. I've had the most luck with "Chuck It!" Frisbees, and things made of similar material. (Its apparently nylon canvas)

Any toys that you guys like? She also loves balls and anything with a squeaker.

Lots of toy threads on DT- I have always thought should be it's own sub category.

My Feb 2018 thread of toy reviews for our two Dobes:
https://www.dobermantalk.com/doberman-related-chat/298265-my-recent-dobe-chew-toy-reviews.html

Since that thread, I have procured 11" Pitch Dog rings from Amazon in different colors for the Dobes:
https://amazon.com/gp/product/B0779BCB6S/

These Pitch Rings are sort of soft, but durable and perfect for Dobes to pick up, retrieve and play tug with! They will roll, throw or pitch for great interactive action. They fit over Dober heads, when timed right, in a game I call "Wear the Goober Necklace" I leave rings in their toy box and they haven't destroyed, so far, since Feb. Spock always chooses this ring as his first choice to bring me out of toy box when he wants some playtime fun & attention (always).

For chew toys, the elk antlers have proven to be the longest lasting items, however they're expensive ($27 ea. for each XL size). Eva and Lanah are slow, methodical elk antler chewers, just a little each day. Spock is a power session chewer, going to town for a straight 15 minutes, making fair progress. Luckily, Spock gets bored and move onto another chew toy or other toy. Spock prefers interactive play with humans, while Eva & Lanah can keep themselves occupied with their toys. :2smile:

Thank you so much for all these links!!

Also, that's hilarious, I thought mine was the only one that liked toys around their neck! I recently bought her an orangutan toy with velcro on the hands and hooked it around her neck and she LOST it.
