hello !

first of all i will like to thank for this great website, and to all its users who really care when someone have a question, problem etc.

i am the one living in chile with the to males who started fighting.

i got the big one castrated last week and it looks like things already have changed. they can now play again together, the run after each other, rolls over together etc., just like before they started fighting).

i will keep you posted in the forum in the future, but thanks again for advices. i know that the problem might come back, i am "over them", and keeping an eye on them.

a danish doberman expert (i am danish, living in chile) told me that since i have been travelling the prevoius 2 months before the problems started, they were missing their alpha (leaderdog = me) and now when i am back things will get back to normal. anyway, the big one got castrated, and lets see how things will go from now.

best regards

Best wishes, hope all works out well. I'm glad you are willing to accept that this problem may, and possibly will return, but are willing to watch them like hawks. Ugly battles can break out over virtually nothing, at any time and get bad, if not to the death. Especially with two dogs that already have a history of fighting with eachother. I don't mean to be negative, but it is reality for many people, so just be very cautious. But I offer nothing but the very best in hopes that everything will work out for you, you would be in the minority that's for sure! Please keep us posted as much as you can!

Good luck with the boys and keep us posted. I really hope that snipping the one boys bits takes care of the situation. but just to be careful, don't assume that the problems are over and won't come back.
