Pic 1 is Mister taking down the fake brick.

Pic 2 is the wall where the door is going. Don't judge the sheetrock job just yet. Mister re-did it last night.

Pic 3 is a hidden window we didn't know was there until he yanked the old sheetrock off.

This house is kind of crazy. "They" just left windows when they added on to this place. You can walk into the laundry room and see into the dining room. There is a window that looks out into the mudroom from the guest room. Mister hates the crazy windows and wants to cover them up.

I am weird and like the windows!

Don't mess with my discount!

In turn I have a question for you, Denny. Recently you've referred to pictures--but I sure didn't get any attached to your post. So what's the deal.

And since I'm up in the middle of the and I'm basically doing a LaDi and talking to myself I'll just post this and make it the whateveritis-number ending in 00 post--and go back to bed if I can find something to eat.

ABTLH

PS I see I missed it--I did post xxxxxx99 and xxxxxxx01 though...

How borrowing a puppy when you've run out of dogs works?

The cat who was attached to the last of the dogs was missing the Doberman as much as I was? I went to a local performance show with a friend who was showing a couple of dogs in Rally and Obedience. The show also held a 'baby puppy" class (puppies 4 to 6 months.)

A breeder I barely knew at the time was showing a handsome little male who did very well I got to talking to her. She told me that her two bitches were getting fights over the puppy--I told her if she needed send him out for awhile so the bitches would stop arguing about who was the real mother she could send him to me.

The next day she called me and asked if I was serious. I said yes and borrowed the puppy. Made both me and the cat very happy. Cost the puppy several little scars on his nose until the cats taught how to behave with cats.

Next question?

ABTLH
Nope! No more questions.

But now I want a loaner!

I'm still waiting for one picture from her new camera.

We may be seeing a trend here :wink2:
Frank?

How long have you been hanging out here?

You should know the drill by now!

Patience grasshopper!

My house is in utter disarray and I haven't had time to figure out how to download/upload (whatever it is) the pictures. You will laugh your A$$ off when I finally get it figured out. My full moon picture was a failure. I will give you a hint though. The moon was full that night. I swear!

Plus, I have been watching a lot of political stuff lately.

Now do you see why I end up taking naps and going to the western channel?

Frank, this is how "the drill" goes, from what I can assess:
:wink2:

1. Complain about cost of everything from propane to gate openers.

2. Still opine for new stuff, even though lots of old stuff around house.

3. Ask for advice on CT about potential purchase of new stuff.

4. Disregard advice and impulse buy new stuff!

5. However, can't figure out how to operate new stuff, bargain for the Mister's help.

6. Damage new stuff while operating, keep it on the QT.

7. Mister takes away keys/SD card/ammo, etc. needed to operate new stuff.

8. When asked about her new stuff on CT, blame technology, the Mister or both.

9. As a last resort, blame the goats... :2surprise:

YUM! That sure looks good Mel. I'm another fan a warm bread with lots of butter.

And yes, I really am up at this hour because I woke up even earlier and couldn't get back to sleep (highly unusual for me) So I've been poking around in the computer looking at dog show results and what not and now I'm going to have to go and settle for some toasted (slightly stale) English muffins--but with enough butter they'll do until something better comes along.

ABTLH
Funny you should mention English muffins!

Those are on my grocery list!

Here is what I do with those.

Open face sandwiches.

Half of an English muffin with a couple of slices of hard salami, a slice of tomato sprinkled with oregano, slice of white onion and topped with swiss cheese. Broil until cheese is melted.

Yummy!

Went to my specialist Dr today (diabetes) - I have freaking gained more weight in this pandemic - arrrggghhhh!! On the good side, I got my flu shot - won't die from the flu this season haha!
I'm jealous! I dream of a kitchen remodel. Sigh...not any time soon. On the upside, our super expensive chimney repair should be done this week! Yay! Fires in the fireplace can resume this year.

I hear ya, MaryJo. I gained some weight in the last few months. Some of it is my new migraine med, which is a miracle drug and I won't give up, but is known to cause weight gain. Sigh. Some of it is being home all the time and making dessert every week. And just simply eating more. Oh well. You only live once, I guess?

I'm getting my flu shot Saturday.
Boy I will be glad when this virus is over - I keep losing weight , maybe the lowest I have been in a long time . Wife even made a comment just how straight up and down I am and looking great ! Neighbor even called , said his wife drove by the other day when I was working at the shop and told him how hot I looked and wonder why he couldn't be more in shape like Ken was .

MC - tell us more on the this miracle drug your taking ! So happy for yeah !

Been busy here already - but get over to the farm and hit the weight room

Doc, your story sounded plausible until the last sentence, about the neighbor's wife calling with the accolades.
Suggest that when you weave a tale, make it at least halfway believable, not outlandish! (Let Beau lend you some guidance on the technique...) >:)

One of my neighbors has lost a bunch of weight - he walks a ton since he started working from home all the time! Of course, he looked like an overweight linebacker to start with - so it was a really good thing in his case! My husband still can wear clothes from 20 years ago - I have a hard time getting him to clean out old clothes from our closet because they all still fit! I do not have that problem
