"LOL - the GodMother never gets sent to the said WD...she built it.
- and gave the keys, to our MA...handing over the rein of Power"

Don't forget that I am next in line to the throne!

>:)

While most deserving SP - Beau is afraid, that new found power dynamics...may go to your head.
- and we like you, just the way you are

----------------------------------------------

Thks SD & LDi - for your sincere comments and true understanding...you to SP. :wink2:
- makes Beau feel better
- very heart breaking, to be disrespected and cut off from any meaningful dialogue
- I think someone missed finding the perfect Life Partner, and starting a family / to be finally grounded, learning considerations & true understanding of "others feelings" more
- so biologically, I'm dealing with / seems like, the self centered
- super hard to tip toe, around him / maybe "hitting the wall", took on a new prisoner
- but what does Dad know / I could be wrong, but:
...I was employed to understand, root cause Analysis (critical thinking)...for 3 decades
- so nothing makes any sense now, and just saddens me / most challenging, to Fix

Guthrie Goat News!

Mama Tika must not be working today. She just left!

If she knew what I know, she would fix her muffler/s. But, it's okay if she doesn't fix them. I can keep track of her better this way. I can tell which way she is going on the highway.

>:)

I wouldn't have Guz sounding like that. Hell, even Rustine doesn't sound like that.

Oh well. Her choice of living.

The other day, the goats were climbing on and stomping on a car they have over there. Yesterday someone was out correcting fencing. And, that is the goat news.

I think I ranted there.

Ooops!

Where is Ma?

:nerd:
She's better get up early, as she still needs just under 6,100 posts to become DT all time highest poster.
SP, she might need you to stir things up to draw her out of her lair, this morning... :grin2:

B67—I think the best way to fix those kid problems is to let them fix themselves. We parents get them as prepared as possible to handle everything the world throws at them and then have to sit back and watch them blow it. Speaking as an oppositional person myself though (I KNOW first hand), the less I'm pushed by other folks, the easier it is for me to see my errors and right myself.

It's part of the cycle of life. He'll be back.

Of course, I do need little light reminders from time to time, or I never even realize that I have places where I'm not perfect. My flaws are so minuscule they can be hard to spot from the inside. :grin2:

Hang in there…

And just where have you been? I was worried sick about you.

When I told my brother what was going on with the remod he said, "Sounds like opening a can of worms to me." Nothing alarming behind the walls.

Last night I pretended to have to go potty really bad and purposefully ran into the proposed door way. He just shook his head at me. I thought I was funny.

I started gaining weight when Oklahoma legalized high point beer being sold anywhere instead of a liquor store.

I was doing just fine with the old stuff.

You and Cuz just have to be from the same side of the CT family.

I am just now coming out of the BabyBear phase.

In my personal case, my Mom is a control freak and I am a rebel. Oil and water.

Has been this way since the day I can remember.

She had to put me on a leash at JFK airport when I was a toddler. The disdainful looks she got from people...

Hang in there…
Thanks MEL :giftforyou:
I am no doubt set in my ways, but will not be micro-managed/controlled by anyone...When TOLD, only given 2 minutes, to talk.
- especially, when they don't know what their talking about, not a clue / on matters, in my wheel house of expertise
- thks ever so much for sharing, means a ton to me today...so muck Love and Bond here

While my Fathers Day this year, was pretty much a bust...uncomfortable meet @ best.
- a month later Twin67 took Beau golfing...with his 2 adult sons
- the youngest, drove a few hours round trip...to make my day, special & fun
- he did that to cheer up his favorite Uncle & I was deeply touched / humbled in respect
- the 4 of us, spent the afternoon, chit talking and cracking jokes together

Day 4 of me carrying Mocha up and down the deck stairs and my lower back hasn't gone out...yet. I'm trying my best to be very careful and squat way down while picking her up so I'm using my legs as much as possible. Thank goodness she only weighs 60 pounds...no way I'd be doing this with a 90-pound male.

In other news, we have one cabinet company coming by today and another tomorrow to give us quotes on replacing our el cheapo kitchen cabinets. We're going to have our kitchen redone soon with new countertops, new flooring etc. so just like our bathroom remodel, I thought if you're going to do it, do it right the first time so we'll see how much decent cabinets will set us back. If the price ain't right, then the el cheapos stay. Mrs. TN has some ideas of what she'd like to include more cabinet space to which I say (to myself :wink2: ) if she didn't have so much stuff, she wouldn't need all that cabinet space! We have enough pots and pans to start a restaurant, I tell ya. IMHO, you need a small pot, a medium and a large one. And of course, a skillet. Maybe, maybe, 2 skillets.
I'm jealous! I dream of a kitchen remodel. Sigh...not any time soon. On the upside, our super expensive chimney repair should be done this week! Yay! Fires in the fireplace can resume this year.

I hear ya, MaryJo. I gained some weight in the last few months. Some of it is my new migraine med, which is a miracle drug and I won't give up, but is known to cause weight gain. Sigh. Some of it is being home all the time and making dessert every week. And just simply eating more. Oh well. You only live once, I guess?

I'm getting my flu shot Saturday.

Well Hello 67 and Happy Birthday!
I come from SP side of the family when it comes to family stuff...My father made no sense to me until after he passed and his wife (Mother) became a responsibility and he came into clear focus...i now know i owe him a apology:crying:
Your boy is a business man and that climate has radically changed! It is now a daunting task to make good decisions for the future..its his time and his plan! Sorry you are having these feelings.

I thinks we will be at 40,000 post by supper!!!

oops it looked like 28 post for 40,000 but instead of the 900 +... need to do some ciphering now:nerd::nerd::laugh:
Haha AJ - Beau might be back, but you give me too much credit...they all do. :grin2:

PS - Your clearly right ...CV19 timing, did play a part.
- running a fast paced medium size business, in today's restrictions...ton of added responsibility / that works against a solace mindset, in seeking life's harmony & balance
- so parents get to feel the brunt...first hand
- indeed a new level of work stress today ...being a Boss
- thanks for your wisdom my friend, I enjoyed the read
- glad to hear, about your loving Pops ...many people, sadly will never see the Truth
- so much comfort in that, alone
