Good job in bringing them to Bloom TN:crying:
I spent yesterday at the local Mohs cancer clinic getting a spot on my forehead removed. Didn't feel too bad yesterday but I can't say the same for today--guess I need to do some more icing it.So --------------- Where is everybody been the last few days ?
I am in agreement. Get rid of the time change! It's stressful and shocking to my mental state. That makes sense...Let's make another change how it has always been since consistency now causes stress. No fan of DST since i am at my best later in the day but if it is not necessary for one year why not just abolish it all together!?:nerd:
Good morning everyone and how is everybody weekend going>
You got that right about the rain Di , the water is coming up quick! Most of the lakes docks are now under water around me. I love a wet Florida the nights get so noisy.
The rain just has to help the air quality. I was thinking that before you typed it!Hi y'all!!!
Everybody sleeping in this morning? Not here! We've got a midwest style thunder storm (a series of cells actually going on.)
Had a huge thunder clap at about 4:00 am--and then it started to rain. YAY! Got lots of rain with it too., Supposed to get more today and tomorrow. Already had 1/4 or inch--first measurable rain we've had in 27 days.
Now they have possible flood warnings out for all of the burned out areas in Clackamas county. The wind direction has changed and we are now sending smoke to the Cascades and on to Idaho.
That first clap of thunder frightened Clark under the bed--he's evidently sound sensitive. Leon is fairly deaf and is griping about me not getting his breakfast for him. Joey, the loaner? He's sleeping through the whole thing.
And I'm taking my coffee and going back to bed until 6:00 am--left hand Portland side. The air quality is improving even as I type. Best it's been in days. Pretty soon I'll be able to open the windows.
C'mon fresh air.
"Raindrops keep fallin' on my head.."
Not the farmers--the cities--supposed to save on expended energy for lighting but that was when they built public buildings (and apartments with light wells so that inside areas were still lighted by daylight.I am in agreement. Get rid of the time change! It's stressful and shocking to my mental state.
Wasn't the purpose of changing the time supposed to do something for the farmers or something? Kenny? Any insight?
Thanks Aunt B!Not the farmers--the cities--supposed to save on expended energy for lighting but that was when they built public buildings (and apartments with light wells so that inside areas were still lighted by daylight.
The famers, especially the dairy farmers were screaming their heads off because cows definitely didn't 'get' that kind of time change and expected to be milked at the same times they were milked all the time.
That would qualify as an "or something", Denny.
