Good Morning All!

Did I beat everyone out of bed?

I've been up since 2.

I was out on the back porch this morning and could have swore I heard bucks dueling. Went and got the spotlight and still couldn't see crap.

So, Mister made 2 1/2 foot patches with the paint colors all touching yesterday. Got to wait for morning sunlight so I can see the true colors. Right now, they all look alike. It's weird. I thought they were going to be dramatically different.

He spent so much time being neat and tidy, which is what he does on any project. I commented that he was being too tidy on a wall that is going to get ripped out. He told me he wanted to see all the colors meeting.

Aunt B will be happy to know that they are not Army green and mustard yellow.

Good morning everybody ! Time to get up ! Really it is way past tine to get you - I let you all sleep in this morning !

Sat. High here 68 !
Can I take a nap in a couple of hours and wake up in time for The Waltons and all the westerns that follow?

I actually watched them all yesterday without taking a nap!

Good morning everyone!
Has everyone that has an apple product completed their updates?
You must be recharging and accessing WIFI to complete this process.
So another rainy day here in my area. Drizzly kind of rain.
Oh Florida is wanting to get rid of daylight savings time for just one year due to the stress levels due to covid.
What a fantastic idea!

I've only got an apple tree and I don't know how to update that.

Mister brought in a huge pear the other day. Doubled in size from last year.

Guess I better go out and check the apple tree.

Paint doesn't look any better with the blinds open.

Going for Springtime green and Lily.

The real Lily went under the couch every time we were discussing paint. She thought she was in trouble and stayed under the couch. Poor girl!

We had to coax her out and tell her she wasn't in trouble.

She gets her feelings hurt too easily. She's never been in trouble.

Except for killing a chicken.

That makes sense...Let's make another change how it has always been since consistency now causes stress. No fan of DST since i am at my best later in the day but if it is not necessary for one year why not just abolish it all together!?:nerd:

Good morning everyone and how is everybody weekend going>:)

You got that right about the rain Di , the water is coming up quick! Most of the lakes docks are now under water around me. I love a wet Florida the nights get so noisy.

I had a FUN hour this afternoon! One of my local friends just got a puppy! And, guess what???? It's Richter's half-brother!!! I'm so so happy for her. He's a sweet puppy and I got to spend some time with him and of course I'm totally in love.

They were both the "purple collar" puppy! And they both have a "swirl" cowlick on their left shoulder! She's said for years that she wants a "Richter clone..." so maybe she got one!

The chocolate orchid Alan sent us is blooming! The spike grew to about 3 feet in length, and right now we only have 2 blooms but there are at least 30 more ready to pop. Sure is beautiful.
