The Chinese Red Dog?

The research I've done on the Laizhou Hong shows it's not a recent generation mix, and has been around for quite some time. Primarily German Shepherd, Dane and some Rottweiler along with local females. Doberman may or may not have been added later.
They are seeking FCI recognition I believe but are not currently an FCI breed due to their scarcity outside of China. They were featured at the world dog show which was held in China in 2019.

NPDD had a short blurb about them

I'm in the Genesis Red Dog Kennels group on facebook as Junior Chin the breeder added me some time ago on Facebook and I asked a few questions about the dogs, intrigued from a Doberman perspective of course.

Dobermans on a "pedestal" as "King of the guarding breeds"? For squirrels, yes...
Never forget the doberman is the original personal protection dog, the only breed created for that sole purpose and a good doberman will still have that instinct and desire to protect and stand by their human... even if it's only to protect them from the squirrel or the mailman ;)

I'm really intrigued by this breed. I've seen snippets of videos here and there about it before but have never been able to find much information about them.

Artemis, do you know if there's anyone reputable in the US who is interested in bringing the breed here?
I have no idea at this current time if anyone reputable in the US is hoping to breed these dogs. I believe Junior Chin has sold dogs to the US but unsure if they were to potential breeders. Might be worth asking him. I would like to see this breed evolve in North America as well...
