This cluster is hosted by the Waukesha Kennel Club and held every summer in Waukesha, WI and is one of my very favorites!
I thought I'd share some info here as besides conformation shows (5 shows in 3 days!), there are health clinics available (echos, eyes), dock diving, obedience trials, rally trials, and Fast CAT! Here are some of the flyers.
Speaking of health clinics--I forgot that Mt Hood's summer clinic is June 2--it's one of the two yearly cardio clinics. They got a big entry this season--so they opened up the overflow for next Wednesday (May 31) Joey is in the overflow and his Holter results came back "boring" all zeros where you want to see zeros and nothing else exciting at all.
However I'm dogs sitting Burma for a friend who went on vacation and he's in the June 2 clinic--he's 9 and his Holters aren't as good as we had hoped--but living on meds he's a happy dog and relatively healthy. We'll see what the cardiologist has to say about the echo.
It's 64 degrees now--headed for 80 they say--bright and sunny and almost no wind--back to the outdoor project for me very soon. Got the front lawn mowed and edged and another bracket for a hanging pot for a basket full of petunias. And I've got almost all of the other starts in pots and I've been weeding various beds as I go along--it's an endless job--the back looks a lot better--all the Hostas are up and thriving and so a tomatoes--I've still got one rased bed to weed and replant and then I can work on the rest of the back yard.
But first I need lunch...just talking about all the yard work makes me hungry.
