She looks great, her coat looks very healthy too. She's turning into a very long legged young lady! You must be VERY proud of her!

My only off topic comment is to throw away the choke chain and go buy the lovely young lady a nice nylon collar :)
thanks for the comment lexus . by the way i have more than five collars for her . and the one in the picture is not a choke chain its just a round chain . and she never wears any collar . i put that chain just for the sake of the picture . and does she look very thin ? but my friends and vet say she is normal and good for a doberman but comparing to other dogs in this forum in think she is very thin . what do you all say
Gotcha, you sound like me, I could take pics everyday for a week and Lexus would be wearing a different collar each time probably.

Personally, although the pics aren't the best quality, but I don't think she looks too thin at all. I can't see her ribs or her back bone, she looks sleek and shiny. Perfect IMO.

thanks . thats what lot em say . but i have never used anything to improve her coat at all . just the vet recommended supplements and regular food . thats all .
guess its because she sleeps on my bed the whole day and eat in our dining table and just goes out for nature call ( jus kiddin) lol .

and she even occasionaly steals stuffs from the refrigerator lol .

Boy oh boy, life is really rough for that little girl :jonkel:
she is cute! she probably just looks to skinny to some people because he is so long legged :) Duchess has a girly physique too ;) If you have a digital camera or something that takes a video I'd LOVE to see a clip of her that shows her personality :) In the pictures she comes off as a shy quiet girl :)
Omg lapdog she is anything but shy . what a mess she makes . she is the boss of my house , she is the naughtiest dobe i have ever seen full of action . Only i know how hard i tried to take those pictures . ya ill definitely post pistures and videos taken from a digicam . i just wanted to show you guys how she is and the progress we made together . i do think at times that i have spoiled her a lot but i dont expect a lot from her other than being part of my family so she does what ever she wants and i am the only person in my house who she will listen to . and i do believe that you all will remember me posting about her being very skinny and malnourished .
She has come a long way and looks good, she looks like a sweety. My girl is very mischevious too. Looks like you are doing a great job with her.
She looks to be in good weight - but the camera does add pounds. You should be able to feel ribs but not see them, and she should have a visible tuck up from the lowest point of her rib cage to her back legs. I don't remember how old she is but I want to say I think you said that she is about 4-6 months old. Do they have any dog obedience classes near you? Her misbehaving right now is cute, but it won't be when she is an adult. An obedience course would be good for both of you and would also be good socializing for her both around other dogs and people. If I remember correctly, this is your first indoor dog - making sure that she is trained and well behaved will ensure her status as an indoor house dog. Most everyone on this forum can tell you that they go through a teen age phase where they are almost full grown and will see if you will allow them to take over.......smart dogs they are! Bonding through training classes is really important so that they really understand their place in the household.

I don't mean to sound negative at all - it is just that I do some volunteer work for Doberman rescue and we see a lot of young Dobermans turned in at around 9-18 months for just being out of control. These are intellegent and high energy dogs that need training and exercise in order to be happy and well adjusted. I'm looking for the long term well being of every Doberman. You seem very dedicated to your puppy and I'm sure you will do everything to ensure her well being.
