An obedience trial "trick" is to wear the same color pants/outfit as the color of your dog. It supposedly makes it harder for the judge to see minor faults in your performance. I don't know how well it works, but I always wore khakis when I was trialing Ruby.

On a dog that is taller than your hip, I can see how wearing an entirely white outfit would make sense.

She's probably just making a statement as well.

Ok, that makes sense. I rode dressage, black gloves disguise hand movement. White gloves were for the pros. I get that. My bad.

Yeah, my (German) coach insisted on white gloves, even at Training Level, no fudging for him or his students.

I had white breeches, white gloves, and a white (grey) horse. I was sublimely happy if I just made it down the center line clean.

I'm still reading the other thread, but it's a nice pic of this OB team, wish there were some video of them working together.

Why are people jumping conclusions about an outfit! A statement?!
1) I think it just looks classy and elegant. Perhaps that's what she wanted to portray?
2) Maybe her statement is: I rescued this dog that was dying of pneumonia as a thrown away puppy, worked my a#% off and look where we got! I'm proud of our accomplishment
3) As others have said, to discourage a judges eye to catch minor faults (which many people believe works and do at performance events)

Maybe I'm just picking up undertones because it's typed and not spoken. If that's the case I apologize. But if some people think she was wearing the outfit just to "snub" people, I think that's ridiculous and is in poor taste.

Ouch! German dressage coach. That must have been quite a drill sgt. I got to 2nd lvl, and wore the white gloves then (keeping them clean was something) Training level seems a bit excessive, but the Germans are crazy for their dressage ;-)

I noticed she looks kinda tall as well, more leggy like a greyhound, but she is pretty and Ive never seen an albino that walked so well as they always seemed to be nervous and skittish. Even though her ears are back she doesnt look skittish or scared, just like she's concentrating or listening. She is quite a nice looking girl.
