Welcome! So sorry for your loss. It can be hard to wait, but it's very worth it to wait for the right dog, whether from a rescue or from an ethical breeder. Finding a pup in rescue is definitely possible, though it may take some time. Good breeders often have a wait for their pups, too, but it is well worth the wait to get a healthy puppy with a great temperament that is matched to your family.

We lost him early Sept. Drove 110 miles to look at a rescue Rotterman - just over a year old - and decided for my Wife & Son, that we need a pup at this time in our life.
Have been looking and researching (Thanks DT) Dobes and breeders.
Presently talking with Carosel and AMonde Dobermans

Dear Mr. Russell,
At the present time I have a black/rust male pup available, born
August 29, 2011.
His tail tocked, de-claws removed , ears cropped, 4 booster vaccines,
Bordetella vaccine (kennel cough), microchip, de-wormed, heart worm
test negative, and heartworm prevention given, health certificate by a
certified veterinarian.

BackDraft, Are you a firefighter? When I think of BackDraft that's a fireman's term ..........if not welcome anyway. :) If you're still looking for dobes check the rescues out ......I have my doberman she's 6 years old from a breeder who wanted a good home for her...........it was a good fit the minute she walked into our home. I've had her 4 years...Let me know if you need any help contacting breeder/owner in the area.
