Hello all,
So I've been a proud foster/owner of a big, beautiful Doberman Pincsher for almost a year now. She's my brother-in-law's dog, and since he's in the military she was being cared for by a member of his family. They also had an unspayed female and (as it would seem with many different breeds of dogs) they fought a LOT and of course left each other with scars and wounds.
Anyway, she found her way to me. I'll have to expand further on this story at another time, but I'm so happy to be a part of this forum! I found it a while back when Elsa had a knee surgery, but I never registered. A GSD forum member recommended this site to me (thanks again, ZeldaRules) and I am excited to start reading up more on the breed. I am very new to the world of Doberman Pinschers, but look forward to being a part of it (even if it's only until Elsa gets to go back home to her daddy). Oh, and since I know everyone LOVES pictures, here's a few of Elsa!
These are in chronological order, by the way! And yes, she was quite large from all of the winter fat she had to put on before I got her since she was kept outside 24/7:
And this last one - because her indignity and roll in the spring grass is just too cute not to post!
