lol....he looks like the Easter Bunny Dobie!!
LOL, I should have known that was coming! :supergrin I do think Piper is feeling kind of left out though. I will admit that Rommel has had my 100% attention last night and today since he has been home. He has not left my side. He has been pretty out of it though. Hopefully after we go back to the vet on monday things will get back to normal.Lexus said:Ahh! Poor guy!! Extra loving is in order!! Okay I'll stop by and pick up Piper so you can commit more time for loving for Rommel. No need to thank me, I'm always here to be helpful!
No. The comment "no affected puppies will result from this breeding" is based on the fact the sire is clear. A clear dog will never produce affected puppies, it's genetically impossible. Based on the status of the other parent, puppies could be either clear or carrier.LapDog said:her father is says "clear" and her mother says "pending no affected pups will result from this breeding"...does that mean that Duchess is clear for sure?
This isn't quite right. Clear x carrier breeding gives *each puppy* a 50/50 chance of either being clear or carrier.BackInBlack said:Breeding a clear male to a carrier female, 50% of the puppies would be clear and 50% would be carriers.
