I put a fleece jacket over her to cover everything and help hold the box up so it’s not dangling from her neck…that’s what’s annoying her.Congrats on the normal echo! Here's to a good holter report, too
That sure is an interesting way to hook things on. ;-) I have been known to tape around the body, but have not seen the unit by the neck before.
I might take a t-shirt or something to put over that mesh, too.
ya it pretty awesome, plus they got me in within two weeks! The last time I made a cardio appt was for Sully and they were booking 5-6 months out.I'm so jealous your vet has a floating cardiologist! I've been on the wait list for an appointment for Sherlock (he turned two in September) for quite a few months at the four Chicagoland Cardiologists my vet referred us to. Fingers crossed for a good holter report, too. 🙂
Not sure if you've tried Veterinary Specialty Center at all (or recently), but they've added a second cardiologist so there is more availability now. I just checked availability for a new patient, and they have them as soon as June 6th.I'm so jealous your vet has a floating cardiologist! haha yep! He then proceeded to use his cast as a battering weapon on the crate door. Never mind the fact that we were just outside doing training while the lawn company was mowing…great big loud scary distraction! Came inside for more training on new stuff, then chewed on a bully for 20 minutes. He’s a demon 😂Maui in the back ground!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![]()

I'm dying. He is like let me out of puppy prison I want to eat the fun expensive equipment. That would be my luck. Cheers to an excellent holter result.
Naturally!!! Nevermind all the physical and mental work we do, puppy jail is a prison and we are just mean wardens as far as they are concerned haha. God forbid they have one enforced nap between all the excitement. I swear the spice of the red ones has me very happy I love blacks. All you red parents are brave!!!haha yep! I had looked into the one in Bannockburn when I was doing all of my research, but they gave me a hard time when I inquired about holters and expressed that I would want one of those done, too. The person on the cardio team who called me back essentially said I likely wouldn't be able to get one unless they deemed it necessary after the echo, which I didn't like. I decided to make appointments/get on the cancellation lists for MedVet, Premier Vet Group (Grayslake), and Blue Pearl in Northfield. Not sure if you've tried Veterinary Specialty Center at all (or recently), but they've added a second cardiologist so there is more availability now. Yep the red ones are definitely spicy! Fortunately Maui was pretty easy to crate train, he just puts up a protest when he thinks he’s missing out on something cool. Rizzo on the other hand was an absolute menace! She would howl for what seemed like forever…I remember having to go outside to get away from her because I was so frustrated.Naturally!!! This is something I try to remind myself. For anything that is a challenge (not going over threshold and barking because we are somewhere exciting) there are things that they takes to like they have been doing it forever. (waiting for me to say okay to leave the crate, the front door, or eat) My first dog was a terrible chewer. He would destroy things left out and things not left out. Blitz doesn't chew anything with gusto, he just mouths it a little and thinks it is a great fun game to run around with it. I think Blitz will end up being my perfect one. I really think the universe said, "let's make sure she is good and hooked on Dobermans for the rest of her life."Yep the red ones are definitely spicy! It’s really interesting to me to see how each dog is different and they excel at different things Maui crate trained like a dream, Rizzo not so much….Rizzo was a fantastic car rider from early on, Maui is not….Maui is very bitey…Rizzo wasn’t. Sully was perfect and Athena gave me a hard time for EVERYTHING 😂
