Hi everyone... i would likeyou to read your ingredients on your dog food... if it says corn it is horrible for them... Corn can not be digested. Corn Meal cant be digested. If you want your pets on a good food, the first six ingredients must be good for them and most foods at Petsmart and so on are all filler foods... make them gain weight... and not good for their immune system... Holistic is great and it is what they are made to eat...

Are your dobes vegetarian or carnivores? If you answer vegitarian im gonna just Roll on the floor... because your dogs are Carnivores they need meat and protien... Science Diet....Purina... Plan Royal Canin doesnt have that... they have fillers which are hard for your dogs to digest...so lets go read our ingredients and think about changing our food because anything other than meat and some other foods are bad for your dogs...

Corn has NO nutritional value... it cant be digested... ugh... who wants to poop whole Kernels of corn... OUCH :eek2:

It's down to Solid Gold Wolf Cub, I'll add some sea meal to the food, or Innova Large Breed puppy, or a raw all natural that I'll be purchasing from www.aplaceforpaws.com. I'll be adding extra vitamin C to whichever food I choose. Your thoughts please.

I know that corn isn't good, however of course you think holistic is best, you work at a holistic food store...... I know holistic is good though, maybe just your wording is the turnoff. "I'll tell you what's good...." The approach of asking us a retorical question (is your dog a vegitarian?) for one, if someone actually thought their dog was, then what they need is educated not told that you will fall to the floor laughing at their stupidity basically.

I'm sure your intentions are well meant, however, the approach was not very personable.....

Jim great idea thinking about vitamins... but you shouldnt worry so much just about Vitamin C... Omega 3, 6, and 9 are the essential fatty acids to make your dog grow properly and help their skin and immune system function properly....

Innova Large Breed is awesome... add oil to it... such as Salmon Oil or some oil that your local holistic store has and recommends that has all those Omegas in it.... ill also check out the site you provided see if they have any great oils for you.... RAW is always best to go with because that is how they were in the wild. but you cant just change them over you have to take your time and do it properly... but both are great. Innova is awesome... so i think which ever you choose here is going to help you out so much... and help YOUR DOG immensely.... hope that helps

I am currently working at a holistic store KIM... because my boss refused to let me have a day off in three months... and i told him either a day off or i was done.... so i left.... i am now working holistic food store. and doing some natropathic animal therapy training as well as natropathic medicine research... nice to know you are everywhere to cause things...

no no... i dont think holistic is best... i like raw personally now... my dobes love it but they are having issues transitioning from ughy Science Diet... because they like the taste of Science Diet... So... it is wierd for them.... and no i didnt say stupidity... and i would never call someone stupid for not knowing LOL... there are words for that and stupid isnt one of them.... Stupid is disrespectable, has no integrity, and is pitiful use of words and ignorance and that is something i dont do UNLESS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY... because im not low like that... HEHEHEHE

okay fill in the ignorant- just exactly what do you call holistic food. holism is studying an organism as a whole. Where does that make 'holistic' food different to RAW or scientifically analised formulas. Plus what are the qualifications of the person formulating the holistic foods in your store.

because holistic foods have veggies in them... raw doesnt HEHEHEHE.... the qualifications that we have set up are that no additives or any dies... no food enhancers, fillers as well as lots of other technical stuff isnt added. Holistic food is meat and veggies... Raw is meat.... that is the difference...

Science diet.... scientifically analyzed foods.... have fillers and additives in them...Corn cant be digested by us or dogs....nor can corn meal... there are so many additives,,, pesticides, chemicals in those foods because they come from AAFCO companies saying our food is safe... but okay it may be but does it have ethoyquin, which is BHA or BHT... which is BAAAAAAD for dogs... so if your dog food has in the top six ingredients corn, corn meal, animal digest, animal fats i suggest change or dont buy it because those things dont digest well and/or dont give any nutrition to your dog...

the fact remains when someone challenges your outrageous claims, you cannot provide information and instead you resort to calling names, making up more lies, and then packing up your toys and going home.

Jim you should... and that will help there skin... but follow the directions perfectly... dont give to much or to little.. but yes definately... what color dobes do you have? you may also try bathing in tree tea oil and aloe vera shampoo.... it is all natural and great for the skin. I love it but some dogs are allergic to teatreeoil... so be careful if you use it.... but you are doing great...

Nope been there for a while as a volunteer but nothing permanent till i left to see my uncle...

but i do my research... i dont talk crap all day and then not have facts to back em up... LOL funny doberkim...you make laugh no matter where you are at...
