I have a 4 month old Doberman mix. I noticed a while back that there's a bone in the middle of her chest that sticks out quite a bit. I was just wondering if that's normal or if it's something that needs to be looked at. It doesn't seem to bug her but I'm worried about it becoming more of a problem as she grows. She's a mix of Lab, German Shepard, Husky, and Mastiff. She looks more like a Doberman than anything else though. Does anyone know if this is normal or not?

A "forechest" ? Is that something to worry about? I have a few pics of her facing sideways .. theyre like a month old though. But, the shape of her chest still looks the same as in these pics ..

It is normal. ;)

From the looks of her she is getting ready to put on a spurt of growth in the front, the front legs will grow, and her front assembly will settle in nicely. Do not worry about it at all. :)

She looks like a fun puppy!

Hugz to Sadie!
