Phil thank you. I am blessed to have a great family and the main reason I got a nice camera. I want to capture as many moments of them as I can as they grow and have some great quality pics to look back on. Yes, it's a Nikon D40x and I was using my 70-300mm AS-F VR lens for these shots. What an incredible lens. You can really reach out and touch someone with it. Maybe I'll moonlight as paparazzi! Thanx again.

Beautiful....thanks for sharing. She is a very lucky puppy to have two children to grow up with!!! When my breeder found out that my big lug would have 4 teenage boys to play with, he said in a thick Russian accent....4 boys is BEST for Doberman!

Enjoy her being a puppy, she certainly is totally adorable....as are your children!!!

LOL, you could be a spokesman for a good camera for the family. Be it furry or covered in skin. Do I have permission to blame you when my husband threatens me with divorce? Oh, I could say I want some good golf pics.

I am in love with your family and pup. They look so happy. I am so happy that there are other families out there that can agree that a dobe is just a perfect family pet. In my experience it seems that the babies and toddlers seem to have a bubble of protection around them that the dogs know not to burst, but once the are just above head height, watch out. Perfect playmate.

new camera

Well, to me there is no better reason to buy a new camera than to get good quality pics of the kids growing up. Of course you could throw in the I can get better golf pics, or hunting, or fishing, or whatever your spouse does to help them understand but in the end it comes down to the same thing. Quality family pics that you will enjoy seeing 1, 5, 15, 25 years down the road.

We had so much fun yesterday afternoon and the kids asked me last night if we could do it again this weekend and of course I said yes. We are looking forward to some more running around outside this weekend and maybe I'll post some action shots this time.

Great pictures!! I have a Nikon D70 that I got for pictures of the dogs, just added a HD Sony Handycam. Once I figure that one out I will post a video. A good camera is a must. I got tired of the slow reflex on my other digital camera.

It's nice BUT it comes at a price. Hard yard work. My grass isn't it's best right now because we are coming off of 3 months of rain and sometimes it's been 3 weeks since the last cut. Then, I wasn't able to treat the grass with weed & feed because the rain will just wash it away so right now I am in damage control mode. Not to mention my lawn mower AND weed eater died last week. So be thankfull for the little things.

Yup, we deal with Carolina red clay. Does wonders for a dobie coat and a super long haired mutt with hairy feet. I'm saving money and asking Santa for laminate flooring.
