Pollo is in critical condition

I just got back from the hospital and Pollo is not doing well at all.

we went on vacation and boarded him and Molly at a kennel that was part of a vet hospital. (not our regular vet - he doesn't board). when we picked them up on Sunday, Pollo was total dehydrated, frail, skinny, his white blood count was high and his liver and kidney values were thru the roof. he didn't even recognize me. his temp was 98. I spent the afternoon curled up on the vet clinic fool with him while he got fluids and swapped out hot water bottles to keep him warm. when he had taken a liter, we transported him to an emergency hospital.

they think it could be addison's or liver or gall bladder cancer. we are waiting for the addison's results. He is in very bad shape and will be there for a couple more days at least. the doc would not tell me that he would get better.

this is exactly what happened to Cody, right before he died. to say we are devastated doesn't even begin to describe it. I will post again after I get back from the hospital tonight. please pray for my boy, he needs all the good thoughts, prayers and energy he can get right now.
