Took Chi for a walk this morning. We got started a little later than normal and since I had just come from the gym I really didn't realize how warm it was outside... 'Bout a 1 1/2 miles into the walk the poor girl was so hot so I stopped and let her lay down under a bush in the shade to cool off before we finished that last mile home... All of a sudden I hear a siren. I look up and it's my darling husband and his partner. So Chi got a ride home in a squad car and amazingly enough wasn't too tired or hot to maul his partner with very slobbery kisses. How many pups can brag of a police escort on a hot day???? LOL Now she's completely cooled off and refreshed and terrorizing Petri LOL. What a ham!!!

If it makes you feel any better I can pretty much guarantee that if it had been just me and I was hot and tired I would have heard a honk and possibly seen a wave but no ride... :eek2:

Completely off topic but did y'all see the Saturday Night Live with Donald Trump where he was making a halloween commercial for "The Apprentice" and he had to do the MUHAHAHA laugh? Holy Cow it was the funniest thing I've ever seen LOL Right up there with Jesse Jackson reading Green Eggs and Ham like 20 years ago LOL
