Old girl at our local shelter

There is an old girl named Brandy at our local shelter. La Porte is not a huge city (population less than 30,000) and most of the time they have cats with just a few dogs.

She is 8, and it says she hasn't had a wonderful life up til now. They will be closed until Tuesday so I can't go see her.
I hesitated to email them because Orson is so crazy right now, but I went ahead anyway.
I let them know that we would be willing to foster until she is placed. I hate the idea of her 'couped' up in that little shelter............I know Orson would go stark raving mad!
I have no idea if she is ok around other pets or kids, the description really doesn't say much. So now it's just waiting until Tuesday to find out more.

Thanks Brum, and that is exactly what happened with Mr. O............but my hubby has drawn the line in the sand like Mrs. B

He has agreed to one rescue at a time, and since I kept Mr. O, I am not allowed to get attached to any more, I promised (with my fingers crossed behind my back

)

And thanks to everyone else for your good words & thoughts, I am really hoping that she has a line out the door tuesday of people who want to love her permanently...................but with her age & breed it is doubtful.

Well, good news.........I hope. They just emailed me back (got to hand it to their speedy response)
They said they have one party interested, and have been contacted by a Dobe rescue. They said they would keep my info just in case, and thanks for the offer.........bla bla bla.
So hopefully things will look up for this little lady!

Hubby will be relieved because he knows his word goes out the window about dogs! (and he is the biggest spoiler of them in the house anyway!)

Well they let me know she has been placed, but they would not tell me where or even if it is this town.
I don't see why, but whatever, I hope she is in a loving home with good people.
