I never really understood the purpose of teaching such tricks, but we all do them anyways, lol.

What's up with his ears? Is this a recent video?
yes it is a recent video and his posts are weakening making them go inward like that, time for a re post.

?

Do his ears go inward when the posts are off?

I don't really like explaining stuff to people without them asking first. It's pretty irritating for someone to tell you something you already know. I just saw it and thought it didn't look quite right.

What do you mean by weakening?
they do not do that when the posts are off, he has had his posts in for a week now and the posts are not as strong, so they bend inward rather than stay straight from when he sleeps against his crate. I am taking him to the breeder this week to get them re posted.

Oh dude, just do it yourself, it really is easy.

Is the breeder using backer rod wrapped in the duct tape? You can flex and bend that any which way you want and it will still revert back to its original position (which is straight).

It really is easy bro. This is my first owned dobe and was my first time posting ears. The only thing easier is breathing (because it is involuntary) and sitting on your couch (no description necessary).

Do it when your pup is sleepy and laying in his favorite nap time spot, hopefully not the crate. Cake city.

Yeah I hear what your saying but seeing that he is a potential show dog I don't want to take a change of messing up his ears. That and I live really close the breeder anyways.

aww how cute, he is really a smart cookie! Nexus seems to be slightly ADD and has no patience for learning, so our sessions are short and are the basics only, sit, down, stay, no fancy stuff involved. Bella is learning a few other commands, but she seems more interested in where the treat is so she doesnt want to focus on what Im telling her.

Good Call!
Kim is not new to Dobermans and kind of knows what she is doing on Ears..

STIG LMAO If you only knew.... a person on their first Doberman giving advice on how Kim should be doing ears, now that is some FUNNY STUFF!!!.. but then that never stops you from speaking or giving advice....

wait I forgot:

2) I have given exactly zero advice on this site. Never once have I told someone to do something.
I guess that's off the table....And I would say this is Doberman related.....

Your puppy is doing great. I suspect Kim is very happy with everything you are doing with him

I'm confused at where exactly I said this Kim person should be doing something different, can you please find and quote that for me, thanks.

If 84 lbs of tape on the dogs ears, with them tilting inwards with obvious pockets, means she knows what she is doing, more power to this future show dog.

Again, this isn't rocket surgery. If it were, my pups ears wouldn't be finished and perfect right now, with me being a rookie and all.

All I said was that it was easy to do. If something comes up and he/she can't get to the breeder, it is wise to be able to know how to solve a problem on your own. Nothing wrong with being self sufficient.

I didn't know they did surgery on rockets - hmm I guess you learn something every day - I always thought the term was "rocket science"

I know in other threads people have tried to explain differences in ear leather, ear set etc affecting the posting but you have not listened to that so - why bother....

Umm no when she said she was taking the dog to the breeder this week you told her to do it herself. (See above)

Thanks for playing - have a nice day

To strengthen his obedience skills? To broaden his vocabulary? To provide mental stimulation? To bond with him? To have fun?

Mr. Odin looks like such a sweetheart. And so smart! I love all the updates!

More nonsense
Stop derailing the ops thread. You can't even follow simple directions.

I said show me where I said for this Kim person to do something different and you quote me asking a question.

GED's are easy to get. You should look into that.
