On June 30th, there will be an obedience match at Up Front Farm and Dog Training Center. The match will be indoors in a climate controlled facility. Registration forms and more information are available on their website:

Also available are obedience, rally obedience and agility classes and seminars. There are also special obedience classes for young adults! These classes are divided into two age groups 7-11 and 12-16 (dogs of any age :)).

On August 11th and 12th, there is a two-day Lee Mannix canine behavior seminar. Lee Mannix is a pack behaviorist who consults on dog behavior and specializes in aggression issues. Lee has had the privilege of studying with the internationally recognized British behaviorists John Rogerson, and the late John Fisher, and he attributes much of his success to their tutelage. His unique approach to training and his understanding of dog behavior and animal/human relationships had brought him local, state and national recognition as well as a following of clients from around the country.

Aggression topics include

Fear/Frustration (how aggression is caused)

Dogs are welcome to attend the seminar which will be indoors in a climate controlled building. Register early, space is limited. More info on this and other seminars available can be viewed on their website under "Events".

It is a time scheduled match. I believe it starts at 9 am but may start at 8 and goes through the day. There are 3 rings, novice, open, utility.
