Well that answers my question about who Anubis is. He is coming right along! He loves his bite pillow, doesn't he? How effective would a Donovan Pinscher actually be for say PP work? Are they too light? Or does their athleticism make up for their size?
DPs are Malinois size or bigger, Anubis is only 5 months old. Tweek is a 70# female at 11 months. A Donovan will be more devastating than any herding breed, Dobermann, or even pit bulls and Rottweilers. They were bred for everything, bite work, therapy temperament, agility, weight pull, and even for catch dogs for hunting hogs. They were built to be a combination of the great qualities from almost every group of dogs. Terriers, herders, and molosser and other working breeds. They are consistently from dog to dog, confident and ready to work. So, if I were a police officer looking for a K-9 non-discriminate towards breed and working in a TOUGH area, I would depend on a Donovan more than any other breed.
