I was supposed to pick Lucan up this weekend but the breeder called and said she is waiting for a tattoo letter from the CKC. I should be able to get him next Friday. I thought most breeders were using microchips now. Oh well, the cats have another week to sleep in his bed! Also a pic of Lucan with his brother.

I know you are so disappointed, I would be too but Friday will be here before you know it. Those cats look so comfy in that bed LOL, they are not going to know what hit them when Lucan comes through the door, hehe, oh to be a fly on the wall.

Our breeder did both tatoo and microchip. In todays age I don't think you can be to careful. Better both than none. Besides your wait is not that long. We have been waiting since Nov and are bouncing off the wall especially now the weather is getting nice.

I'm sure it will be well worth the wait, but I understand your disappointment. We were responsible for having Java chipped and that was done w/in days of bringing her home, during her first check-up at the vet's.

I know how you feel. I am waiting to hear on a litter that will be evaluated next weekend. I am hoping 1 out of the 3 will be for me (pet/obedience home). It is soooo hard waiting.

The breeder is waiting for their CKC tattoo combination? Um, did they not know this day was coming like more than 4 months ago?

Hmm, you'd think the breeder would have been prepared for this already.

I can certainly empathize, I have waited for a couple litters now with no success (well over a year now). Now I am waiting on litter number three, and I have until the beginning of April just to see if I even have a chance at a puppy in this litter (the ultrasound is then). Then I have to hope there is something there of the quality I am looking for, which is a conformation and performance prospect.

Anyway, hope your wait is quick now. It will be exciting to get your puppy home to enjoy!
