They are adorable!

Since you have both a GSD and Dobe at the same time, I was wondering what differences and what similarities you've noticed between the two breeds?

Nothing is the same about them.Big difference's.Fever is the the dominant one ,she's a show line dobe and is surpassing Bella in her bite work already! Fever is more demanding and pushy,, she likes her naps at my feet ,Bella prefers to nap in her crate.Fever inhales her food, while Bella eats very slow.Fever farts ,Bella does'nt.They are different like my children are different. They have different personalities along with their different traits.

Your girls are great looking. My mom has a female shepard that is about a week older than my Titus. When they were younger mom would bring her over for a play date and they just loved each other. Titus likes to really play rough and I think that Kasey at times would be ok, enough. When we first starting taking him to the DP he would go running up to any shepards that he saw to see if it was Kasey. Enjoy your two girls!

That's a great combo. I have two dogs, a female rottweiler and a male dobie. Their a year apart. I'm not sure if it's the difference in age but i do notice a difference in personalities. Or maybe my boy just wants to play all the time.

Yes ,its a lot harder than I though.I had Bella 1st at 8 weeks, then Fever at 12 weeks (cause the breeder did the ears and waits till stitches are healed)anyhow I saw a difference in Bella once Fever came, and I let them stay together. She would go to Fever to play now,and not me anymore. So I see the best thing to do is keep them separate most of the time. That is the hardest thing about 2 puppies at the same time.I want them to bond to me and my family 1st ,before another dog.Keeping them separate, without them getting jealous of each other is a real chore. I've made it into a game,so I can get my kids to help, we rotate puppies every hr,and we saw the change in 2 days. Now they both prefer to play with us 1st, even when we do let them play together.I let them eat together and they get 1 hr together in the yard in the morning and then 1 hr together at night with the whole family(family time)Another difference I see in the breeds is Fever is a lot rougher at play and uses her paws, but she knows her place w/my kids. The biggest prolbem I got now is the family car(jeep) it did hold all 5 of us and the 1 crate w/Bella.When Fever came the crate was big enough for both pups for our local trips.HA ,like my kids go thru shoes, the crate is big enough now for only 1.Yes I do get both crates in the jeep now, but I got to put the seats down. OPPPPPP'S.............. where do I put the kids now?.My wife has to take my daughters in her car.You know where that leaves me??...Yep, looking for a new car.I'm looking at a new chevrolet suburban.Hmmmmm ......that would leave me room for that brown puppy too!!!!!!!

I have a Burb.....and I love it! It is an excellent sturdy truck, and you can really rack up the miles on them, with few repairs needed. I'm close to down sizing now, my 4 sons are all teens, one close to 20, and they don't all go with us on vacation anymore. And I used to have two big Weims, and now just have Petey, so a smaller car is in my future.

Where on the Island are you?
