He has these ulcers on the right side of his tongue and I was wondering what could cause this and how to treat it. Did he accidentally bite his tongue or is this something more serious?
Looks like he accidentally but his tongue pretty hard while playing or something. Im not sure whats good treatment but maybe bring him in to a vet and see if they recommend a test or treatment
Is it one big and one small? They look accidental, they more-less corresponds to the position of the upper teeth. A traumatic ulcer must disappear or at least get smaller within a week or two. If it doesn't you may think in something else. The important thing now is to know if it is painful and interferes with feeding. Your best bet is taking him to a Vet, just to avoid pain while eating or something. I know some human remedies, but not sure if they are indicated for dogs
Yep, to the vet to determine diagnosis and if meds are needed to prevent further infection.
