"...The FDA website had no information of this recall, so I called DelMonte. I was told "this is not a recall, we voluntarily pulled the product because mold was discovered..."

For what it's worth, if I remember correctly this recall dates before September 30th (unless this is another). I work at a grocery store and remember seeing the email notifying us to pull the product. Even though the FDA didn't put out a recall, we still get alerts at the store in regards to pulls such as this voluntary one.

MILK BONE biscuits / Meat source is "meat & bone meal".

By definition - source from "rendering / dead stock" plants....Yum-Yum 4 your dog.

That is why my biscuits (100% human grade organic) cost $20 / lb. including our 13% HST tax in ON. Canada.
- if I won't eat crap, my loving dobe, doesn't either / she will turn 11 y/o in Dec.

he is heading for 11 years of age and he LOVES Milk Bones. :)

i always 'check' the food i feed my guys before they get it, any food.

Devon loves these milk bones I had a 14 lb box I got at Sam's Club which last her forever. I don't like the fact what is inside these things.........Thank you for the info...Big Lot's has organic dog bones I'm going for my next shopping trip!!
