SOOOO cute!!! Can you give us a recipe?
Lexus here are a couple of liver treat recipes out of my dog cookbook that I make.
15 Minute Liver Treats

1 lb chicken livers
1 cup flour
1 cup corn meal
1 Tablespoon garlic powder
1 Egg

Place chicken livers and liquid in blender, liquefy. Add egg, mix a minute more. Pour into bowl. Add flour, corn meal and garlic powder. Mix. Spray jelly roll pan with Pam. Pour mixture into pan. Bake 15 minutes in 400 degree hot oven. Cut into small squares while still warm. Keep in freezer to prevent spoilage. My dogs love them frozen.

Golden Liver Brownies
1lb beef liver liquefied in food processor of blender
1 box Jiffy corn muffin mix
2 teas garlic salt
6 bags raspberry tea (optional): great for intestinal problems

Mix well, spread into cookie sheet sprayed with Pam. Bake 350 degrees for 18-20 minutes. Cool and cut into squares. Keep refrigerated. Will keep for 2 weeks or you can freeze them!

Doggie Liver Treats
1 lb Raw liver
2 Cloves garlic
1 Box corn muffin mix (Martha White works well)

Heat oven to temperature listed for the corn muffins.
In blender or food processor, mix liver and garlic until liquid. Mix in box of muffin mix. Scrap onto a cookie sheet and pat to about 1/2 to 1 inch thick. Bake until very firm but not burned. Cut into squares. May be frozen.

MIA, nice pic of Mocha. :)

Thanks for the recipes guys.
Thanks both of you for the recipes!!! Next Tuesday is my next day off, and Lexus is going to get her treats then!!!!
Thanks both of you I had several similar recipes and lost them. I've made the brownies before for birthday party for my dog and a friends birthay party.
Won't the kids and hubby be so excited!! As it is they refused to reuse the ice cube trays after I made liver and banana supplements in them!! I'm waiting for them to want to buy a new blender too, as they are getting iffy about that, b/c I used it to blend my frozen treats!! What pansies!
Okay not to sound completely dumb, but where exactly can I buy liver? I have never purchased it before. =)

Just go to the meat departmart at your store if you do not see it ask the meat departmart manager or butcher!
By the way, as I always tell me children. No question is dumb, it is just that you do not know the answer!

That's easy enough! *laughs* I'm sure I'm capable of this. Next time I go to the store I'll try to remember to pick some up. :D
I buy mine in the grocery store in the frozen food section. They have beef liver, calves liver, and chicken liver. My girls LOVE the beef liver!
My dogs also like to pre-rinse the pan for me!!!! LOL
