It looks as if we are getting a 3 year old female next week.
She's had a fair bit of obedience training with her current owner & I'll be getting all her 'control' words and signal information.
However - my daughter & I both need some work. The dog might know what she's doing, but we don't.
Any suggestions on 1. Trainers in Belleville (or east Toronto)? and 2. What do I look for in a trainer?
(My sil has someone, but I think he's the person who never allows tug-of-war with a dog & I really liked the Leerburg "Power of Playing Tug" idea & will get the dvd when we are ready. I have to ask her more about him, but I'm not sure exactly what to ask.)
