Loki passed away at home 49 months old. Rip beauty.
Loki passed away this morning. The vet was coming over at 11am but he passed at 10am. His large tumor (VWD affected and Hemangiosarcoma likely) ruptured and softened to spread under the skin, I believe it also entered his chest cavity.
He was a very good boy with an interesting life and many tales to tell. He was happy here and ran off leash with Bella often. He was the most intelligent, affectionate and beautiful animal I've ever known. We love him so. Its heartbreaking.

Be assured that his final years here was spent in pure enjoyment living with Bella and your family. We can tell by the wacky picture of him above and the wonderful "Top of the World" pic used as your avatar! Reread you May 2020 thread where you introduced yourselves, Bella and new adopted fawn boy, Loki. You were all so excited then to be getting a new boy and Bella was looking forward to having a brother to boss around! You family provided the best home and took the best care of Loki. Thanks for sharing his life with our DT community! May he rest in peace and be in pain no more...

Spocks Dad thank you. I have printed that out. That boy did sure have a few adventures in his short life, and he was in prime form in January this year. It looks like in the photo the leash is a little wrapped...idk, he was fine since that leash wrapped around your foot on a cliff....Very sorry for your loss of Loki after such a brief time with you!
