What are some of your favorite sites that have pictures of exceptionallly bred dobermans? I've just been searching kennels and find pics, but they are at a distance some times and don't allow me to see the details. I want to see what an ideal doberman looks like. What should i , hopefully, expect from my kids? Thanks for the help.

Yeah. The page with the head shots show my Titus's great grandfather. The top picture on the left is CH. Carosel's Make My Day.

Yep, I would say that the DPCA site that Murreydobe posted is the best place to start! Learn what they should really look like and then learn to see the good things along with the faults of what you have. No dog is perfect - but the closest thing to it along with good health and proper temperament is the goal of every good breeder.

All it took for me to realize that my first Doberman should never be bred was to look in a book about Dobermans and realize that what I had didn't even come close to it - LOL - I spayed her fast :)

And in the head shots, the second row, left, is my Murrey's sire, Ch. Angel's Dark Thunder.

Here is CH.Carosels Make My Day's head shot from the DPCA link and one of Titus below. Titus has alot of his grandpas traits.

Tj, in the pics Titus looks deeper red, which to me is more attractive :) But the family resemblence is definitely noticable in the bone structure of the head.
