Hi I was looking at getting a female pup and the breeder says she's red, but she looks very light red in person compared to the dark rust/chocolate looking reds I've seen before. She also had a Fawn sister who is much lighter than her so she's not a Fawn. But she almost looks as if she's half fawn and half Red. Is that even possible? The father is black and the mother is light red as well, and not quite as red as reds I've seen before. Can dilutes vary from fawn to almost red? Or do the reds just get darker as they age?
Thanks!

Welcome! You might want to post the breeder you are considering. It's very easy to fall prey to less-than-ethical breeders, and we'd be happy to point you towards a great breeder.
