I don't get this whole dragon slaying thing. I realize their is little that can be done after the fact, and making light of the situation is a stress relief...but I see absolutely zero humor in a destructive dog.

Are you guys really telling your dogs good job for killing the 'dragon' or is that just the humor reserved for people?

Yep - I sure did laugh at her and tell her she was a good girl when she brought that to me. It was her pillow. No different than any other toy I give my dogs

Her carrying that skinned pillow around wagging her tail that fast is FUNNY Stuff.

But you know - that is the type of dog I like

Yes it is. She wags that thing about 100 miles an hour! She was very happy with herself until I took it away from her.

zero humor?

Magic found a dragon in the root system of one of the big alder trees in the yard. He 'ringed' that tree in his efforts to dig the dragon out. Now the tree is dying. Saves me from falling it. Because of his dragon slaying prowess, I have a standing dead tree that will be well seasoned when the time comes for it to fall over.

And.....it was tons of fun watching him hunt the dragon.

And YES, good boy Magic!
