Anyone else got this yet? Doberman Pinschers are the featured breed (on the front cover), and a very nice article and fold-out color photo in the center!

Are there ads for albinos in it?
Dont know about the ads, I'm still going through the articles & photos, but in the article it gives breed standard colors as black, red, blue & fawn.
I dont usually read the breeder ads in the back.
oh okay ill wait to buy it. I never read the breeder ads either...but I also never realized they would advertise those...If they did advertise...i guess they arent as dog people as we thought if they did take advertisements for albinos
They do take albino ads or have in the past and I won't buy the magazine as long as they continue that. They're published by the same company that publishes Dog World and Dogs USA and one of the first two had a disclaimer in the front of it that they wouldn't advertise dogs that went against their breed standards and then did it anyway. The albino breeders were on the internet bragging that they had an "in" with someone at the magazine.

Lol, I was going to ask if the article mentioned to stay away from the breeders that advertise there.
I did hear that the DPCA took out a big ad it in so that people have more to choose from than the kimbertals and other commercial breeders. Some other breeders many have put ads in just for this issue. If you don't give JQP good places to go, then those lousy breeders will be the only place they know to go unless they really do some research.
Last time I thumbed thru one I recall seeing a DPCA ad, which was refreshing. I also remember being shocked by the low standards of breeders in the magazine. The majority of them were not good choices to get a Doberman from at all.
