I hope that every one would give a few $$$ to the Humane Socitey for help in the Hurricane.
I know that I am. I am also going to write the makers of my dog food and urge them to donate dog and cat food to the local Humane Socitey for relief for the people and animals from the Hurricane. I urge you all to do the same for the companies that you buy your dog and cat food from.. Tell all you friends to do the same.. Maybe we can make a difference

Hubby and I were talking about this just last night... Have you seen any out-reach efforts for the pets (not that they are top priority right now with all the chaos) or any nearby shelters that are soliciting for food and supplies?

No not yet but I am going to talk to my Sister that is in MS and see if she knows.
